carolyn frankham
Carolyn graduated in Visual Arts from the university of Southern Queensland in the late 1970's. Since then she has worked as a potter, taught art in high schools and has exhibited her paintings in local galleries.
Carolyn uses colour and line to produce work of vibrant energy. Some of her current pieces are inspired by fish markings and are quite abstract. She is also fascinated by the sky.
She believes that the world around us demonstrates and illustrates who God is and what He is like, just as an artwork tells us something about the artist.
Psalm 19 says:
'The heavens tell of the glory of God.
The skies display His marvellous craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
Night after night they make Him known.
They speak without a sound or a word;
Their voice is silent in the skies;
Yet their message has gone out to all the earth,
And their words to all the world.'
She says that... "Everywhere we look in nature we can learn something about our Creator.”
